Our new Casa de Ayuda Center is cozy, clean and ready to help.
We have our own official logo now! Our grand opening celebration
was held September 23, 2006. |
The office is furnished with a small desk where we
can discuss in private with individuals what their needs are and
how we may help. Also, we refer families to other agencies that
provide additional services. |

Our clothing bank has a number of items to choose
from. Originally,
we had hundreds of bags of clothing in Colorado to take to Mexico.
However, even with our non-profit status, the Mexican government
would not give us permission to bring them into the country. So,
now we are gathering used clothing locally. |
| Our van is waiting in Colorado and
ready to take the long trip to Toluca in January 2007. This vehicle
will provide a much needed service transporting individuals who use
wheel chairs to medical appointments. |

Eli distributes food to families 2-3
times per week. The items vary based on what is donated to us. |
| The families appreciate the assistance
we provide and children always like "new" clothes. |

Smiling faces make all the
effort worth while. |
We hope that you will join with us in helping to provide a better
life to those struggling with the burden of poverty and the frustrations
of mobility barriers. Thank you for your time and interest.
